Don’t Worry About It

I worry about you, sometimes — i’ll admit it — whoever you are.

Because i know so few people anymore … i mean, really know them …, i feel a little guilty. How many people do you really know, people who you talk to almost every day? (And i say “talk” meaning in-person, text-message, email, or on the telephone.)

My main problem in life is that i seldom ask for advice or help of any kind — i never did. It’s like i had to invent it all for myself. (So you can imagine my success rate: not the best.)

Aside from Cecilia, my writing is about as close to talking to anyone as i come.

I feel a little guilty, not knowing more people; but i don’t have the social stamina for it anyway, a lot of socializing. (And i even feel a little guilty not spelling it “socialising” with an “s” like my phone wants me to.)

So i try to let it go.
